This New York indie band’s sophomore effort, “Contra,” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The album art featured a vintage Polaroid of a teenage girl that the band believed they had purchased the rights to. Ann Kirsten Kennis later sued the band for using her image without permission.
